About us

The idea of B'ville Riptide began in the spring of 2022 when I coached the Baldwinsville Little League A's Jr/Sr team, which won both the division and championship playoffs. Some of the boys asked if I'd coach again and they came up with the idea of Riptide -- a supplemental baseball program, where they can play with friends and it's all about them... they're the leaders/captains/players. The goal is to have fun and play more baseball, while keeping it affordable for families too. We now have experienced coaches volunteering their time to help as the team plays in tournaments, games and indoor leagues. In December 2022, our application for 501(c)3 nonprofit status was approved by the federal government. Our nonprofit organization, Riptide Sports, has expanded to include teams ranging from 8u to 17u. I am grateful for the support of all the parents, community, and kids who have helped make this happen. Let's go Riptide!   - Coach Catie
